CGFNS Certification Program for Registered Nurses

The CGFNS International Certification Program (CP) is designed specifically for registered nurses educated outside the United States who are eligible to practice their profession in the United States. To be able to pass this examination, you must have completed classroom instruction and clinical practice in adult health nursing, maternal/infant nursing, care of children, psychiatric/mental health nursing. You must be a registered nurse of your country and hold license as a register nurse.

The examination is composed of three parts:
1. Credential Review – this is the evaluation of the secondary and nursing education.
2. CGFNS International Qualifying ExamSM – this will the nursing knowledge.
3. English Language Proficiency Examination

The CGFNS Requirements are as follows:
Authenticated Photocopy of:
- PRC LICENSE (front and back)
- Updated/ Board Certificate (photocopy)
- Certification under process (if newly passed the LOCAL BOARD EXAM)
High School Diploma w/ English Translation
Original Copy of:
- Complete set of CGFNS application forms – Pink, Blue, Green, White
- Nursing Education Form (blue form) w/ attached RLE Summary/OTR
- Request for Validation of Registration/License
- Application fee of US$ 368.00
- 3pcs 2×3 inches size picture w/ signature
