Oathtaking Schedule for New Nurses in Manila SMX

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination in Manila as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Monday and Tuesday, March 14 and 15, 2011, with morning (8:00 A.M.) and afternoon (1:00 P.M.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.


All must come in their white gala uniform, nurse’s cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage.


Oathtaking tickets for the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby regions will be available at the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) at 1663 F.T. Benitez Street, Malate, Manila, from February 28, 2011 on a “first come first serve” basis Online Priority number is required to avail of tickets. Please logon to http://www.nurseoathtaking.net. “No Online Priority Slip, No access to tickets”.

December 2010 NLE Results

MANILA, Philippines—A total of 29,711 out of 84,287 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Ilocos Sur, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga in December, the Professional Regulation Commission said.

The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

PRC targets February 20 to release December 2010 NLE Results

One of the Board of Nursing (B0N) member Marco Antonio Sto. Tomas revealed via Facebook that the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) is targeting February 20, 2011 (Sunday) as the release date of the December 2010 Nursing Licencure Exam or December 2010 NLE Results

Sto. Tomas posted on his Facebook wall,

"Perhaps it will help if people like those awaiting results will offer prayers for us too! We also wish to finish and release the results because this is not the only job BoN is engaged in.. the 20th is a reasonable target and we and the rest of the PRC staff are working on it even on saturdays and sundays, up to midnight..."

He added that the December 2010 NLE takers should just turn their anxieties to prayers, instead.

"...to process examinations for 84-85,000 examinees X 5 subjects is certainly not a joke so turn your anxieties into prayers instead, be faithful to our "calling" but be open to God's will all the more," Sto. Tomas posted on his Facebook page."

The December 2010 Nursing Board Exam was held last December 19-20, 2010. But with the volume of exam papers to check the BoN is having a real hard time to release the date at a soonerdate as everyone would like to.

Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing (BON) member Marco Antonio Sto. Tomas dispels rumors about the release of December 2010 NLE results on February 4, 2010.
BON Sto. Tomas made the comment on his Facebook Fan Page, adding that nurses waiting for the said December 2010 NLE results “must learn to manage health… even our own, so do not succumb to useless anxieties.”

His complete message for December 2010 NLE takers:

To alleviate to the extent possible, the anxieties of waiting examinees please be aware that speculations of a February 4 release is not true… nurses must learn to manage health… even our own, so do not succumb to useless anxieties. PRC Law says all Board Examination Results (from 44 Regulatory Boards under PRC) must be published. ERGO, where there is no official published release from publications of general and wide circulation then there is NO RESULT YET! Your Board and the concerned division and personnel of PRC are all trying their best to have results released within FEBRUARY but within reasonable human capacities and capabilities. GOD BLESS EVERYONE.
